We had a 4 day weekend last week so when our friends (The Thorntons) invited us up to their family cabin, we couldn't resist!

What usually takes only an hour and twenty minutes, took 3 due to I-70 road closure. There was an avalanche 20 min. up the canyon. (Bummer) Then the snow packed roads made for my white nuckle 40 mile an hour travel for the rest of the way. But we made it and had a lovely time!

Anyhow, we had a great time hanging out for a few days! We always look forward to spending time away with friends!

How fun. It looks like you had a great time. I am ready for the snow to be gone from my everyday but a getaway like that is so cozy. You are beautiful as always. Love you.
