My girls Janice and Marcea over at Abbey Lane Quilts are doing a giveaway you might want to jump on!
These girls are notorious for their fun easy quilt designs, and they have a new book out of 4 great quilts with matching wreaths! If you've never sew a quilt but would like to try, I recommend starting with one of theirs!
(advise from a non-quilter myself)

They sew up quick, and are perfect for having around the house, and now you can coordinate with a matching wreath, or if you're like me you always need a little blanket in the back of the car for those summer outings to the park. Who doesn't want to cop a squat on a darling quilt at a summer concert!

This one is my fav! I'm thinking if you leave off the flowers and sew it up in "boy" fabric........ hmmmm LOVE!

So jump over to Abbey Lane Blog and follow their steps to get your self entered to win a free pattern book!
Good luck!
and happy sewing!

I wanted to post a few of the pictures from the photo shoot for my Retro Puffer Vest pattern cover.
I stumbled across this darling little sweetie Keely with her mom one day dropping Nolan off at Kindergarten.
Finding the perfect little girl was not an easy task because she would have to get along with Nolan of course, and she had to be a cutie pie (naturally), but even more important, she had to be the right size little girl for the vest I had already made..... and I was leaving the next morning for Quilt Market. Pressure was ON!
Que Keely......

Look at that sweet face.......

Now, I'm no real photographer, (obviously)- and my camera is sub-par to say the very least, but
it doesn't matter I guess when you have a cutie-patootie to work with now does it?
And wouldn't you know it... her mom sews! ;) (Can I pick'em or what?)

Speaking of cutie-patootie.... here's my little stud Nolan, hamin it up.....
hmmm think he's done this before? :)

This pose was all Nolan's idea.... I think I have a little Ladies Man on my hands

Then it got dark.... fast! So we were done whether I liked it or not.
The saying is true......Thank heaven for little girls (Keely), and her Mommy who saved my hide that day!

And that's a wrap!

Well Hello!

Two adorable patterns from two other fa

ntastic designers (Pink Fig & Bananafana).... and two of my own.

If you are interested in the drawing you need to Like my Hot Scott FB page, then leave me a comment here saying you did. I can't advertise on FB so this is where the contest takes place OFFICIALLY ;) I'll draw a random winner on May 31st!

Sunset Beach fishies!

I'm putting together the list of stores who carry my 2nd fabric line, while you wait, I thought I'd give you some ideas of what to do with it when you get your's!

I'll be posting some fun projects (some little, some a bit bigger) made with Sunset Beach over the next couple of weeks. I'm getting ready for market, and will be busy sewing with it, so I might as well show you what I'm up to!

Found this fun Felt Fishie Set tutorial here on Just Another Day in Paradise blog. It sews up super quick, which I LOVE.
Here's another version....using magnets here
A great birthday party game they could even take home a set of their own as a party favor!
(depending on how ambitious you are ;)
..... check back soon! more to come.....
